So when I wrote that ‘everyone is a designer’, the idea behind it was to eliminate the stigma surrounding the profession. Naturally, I wouldn’t want to undermine the craft considering that I’ve made a career out of it. :) But I think it’s important to tell people that the journey to becoming a designer could start out with something as simple as finding a unique solution to an everyday problem.

As designers, we too spend a fair amount of time looking for references and “hacks” online and no design is complete without experimenting. It’s just that the trial and error part of our process isn’t as glorified as the final product. It surely is about the intent, but what matters more is what you make out of it.

And lastly, thank you so much for the kind words :) Let’s hope I can keep this up!
